A man died while another got injured when a motorcycle they were riding on collided with an army vehicle on Jammu-Rajouri Highway near Bhambla.
As per police, 26-year old Anil Singh son of Surender Singhof Chouki Choura was killed while the pillion rider who sustained injuries washospitalized.
Police said there was a head-on collision between the armyvehicle and the motorcycle.
Meanwhile, in its official statement, army said a detailedinvestigation is underway and the army authorities have assured completecooperation.
“Army remains totally committed towards ensuring safety andsecurity of all citizens, be on Line of Control or in the hinterland,” it said.
