District authorities claimed to have retrieved 107 kanal of state land from the clutches of encroachers in Kakora village of Manjakote tehsil on Thursday.
The official spokesman of the district administration said, “Continuing the anti-encroachment drive, district administration has retrieved 107 kanal of state land under Khasra 332 min, 448 min 530/I min in village Kakora of Manjakote.”
Quoting tehsildar Manjakote, the spokesman further said, “A team comprising of magistrate, 30 police personnel and officials of Forest and Revenue department carried out an anti-encroachment drive under the overall supervision of district development commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad. More drives of this nature will be carried out in the future with even greater momentum.”
Tehsildar Manjakote Sheraz Ahmed Chowdhary performed the duties of magistrate during the drive.
