Two persons died after a vehicle plunged into a deep gorge near Ratta Chamb Morh on Mughal road.
According to a police official, a Tata Mobile bearingregistration no JK12A 1129 driven by Nazakit Ali son of Mohammad Taj of BehraMendhar was on its way from Pir Ki Gali towards Surankote when at about 03:45PM, vehicle skidded off the road and fell into the gorge.
Driver along with another person Mushtaq Hussain son ofMohammad Sharief of Behra Mendhar died on the spot.
Later both bodies were retrieved from the gorge and shiftedto sub district hospital Surankote for post mortem examination, SSP PoonchRamesh Angral said.Block medical officer Surankote, Dr. Zulfkar Ahmedsaid that both persons were brought dead to hospital where medico-legalformalities were carried out.
