Two men of Rajouri were killed, while two other sustained injuries after their car met with an accident at Akhnoor bypass.
The family of one of the deceased said, “Our son, along with three of his friends, was heading towards Rajouri from Jammu in a newly-bought car. Unfortunately, the car collided with a truck at Akhnoor bypass at about 8:30 pm Monday.”
A police officer said that Gulshan Sharma (26) of Dassal village died on the spot, while three others, injured in the accident, were shifted to a nearby medical center for treatment.
However, one of the injured, identified as 37-year-old Vikram Sharma son of Kewal Ram, succumbed at the medical facility.
