Two person were killed in two separate road accidents that took place on Jammu Rajouri Poonch highway on Wednesday morning.
A police official said that an accident took place when aTata mobile vehicle met with an accident at Deri Ralyote village fallingunder jurisdiction of Manjakote policestation of Rajouri district.
Driver identified as Mohammad Ashraf resident of PoonchMandi died on the spot.
Second accident took place when a tractor rolled down theroad at Kallar village of Rajouri.
Driver of the tractor identified as Suresh Kumar son of SantRam of Kaller sustained criticalinjuries and was taken to Rajouri hospital where he was declared as broughtdead.
Body of accident victim was later handed back to his familyfor last rites. Police said that cases under relevant sectionsof law have been registered in both the accidents.
