3 detained Kashmiri boys released in Rajouri

Three youth from Imamsahib Shopian, who were detained while “moving suspiciously in Bareri village of Rajouri,” have been released by police authorities.

“The three youth were on Monday late evening found roaming suspiciously in Bareri village close to Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri after which locals informed police and a team detained the trio from the village,” an official said.

Questioning of the youth was conducted by police teams wherein nothing inadvertent was found after which they have been released, the official said.

All the youth have been handed over to their parents in Rajouri.

Senior superintendent of police Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, said that the three youth have been released and handed over to their parents.
