5 injured in Ramban, Rajouri road accidents

Five persons were injured in three separate road accidents in Ramban and rajosuri districts on Saturday.

A police official said a Srinagar-bound SRTC bus(Registration No JK02Y-0392) was hit by shooting stones, resulting in grievousinjuries to two passengers at Cafeteria-Morh along the Jammu-Srinagar highwayat Ramban.  The duo was shifted toDistrict Hospital Ramban and later referred to SKIMS here for advancedtreatment.

   

In other accident, a Jammu-bound truck (Registration NoJK02BT-9649) rolled down the embankment of Bislari Nallah near Sherbibi,resulting in serious injuries to the driver.

Police have registered two separate FIRs at Ramban andBanihal police stations for further investigations.

Meanwhile, two persons were injured when a motorcycle theywere riding plunged into a gorge in Palullian village of Rajouri.

A police official said the motorcycle was on way to Namblanvillage from Tandwal when the rider lost control over it. The duo was latershifted to Rajouri hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile police seized the motorcycle and a case underrelevant sections of law was registered at Rajouri city police post.
