Jammu and Kashmir Police has seized 600 litres of dieselfrom a shop in Balnoi village of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district.
As per reports, a team of police headed by SDPO Mendharraided a shop at Nar Balnoi and found 600 litres of diesel from two plasticbarrels.
Reports said that owner of the shop had dumped the hugequantity of diesel to sell it on higher rates in open market as there is nopetrol pump around in the village.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of thelaw and launched manhunt to nab the shopkeeper who has gone into hiding afterthe raid.
