Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday claimed to have arrested an absconder, who had been evading arrest since the past seven years.
A police officer said, “On specific information provided by district special branch, a team of police, led by station house officer, Kandi, Manzoor Kohli, laid a trap and nabbed an accused who was evading hisarrest since 2012.”
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Farooq, he said.
