A large number of Anganwari workers drawn from several areas of Mandi tehsil participated in the protest. “We are protesting against the delay in release of our pending salary since the past ten months. Besides, we do not see any headway in the regularization process,” they said, adding that their pending wages should be released at an earliest and the government should clear its stand on the regularization process, besides hike in wages.
