Continuing its efforts to attract tourists, Rajouri Development Authority in collaboration with Tourism Department today organized Jashn-e-Rajouri at the Dak Bugalow here.
The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner RajouriMohammad Aijaz Asad, SSP Yougal Manhas, CEO Rajouri Development Authority SherSingh and Colonel Vikram.
CEO RDA said Rajouri has immense tourism potential and lastyear 16,82,378 tourists paid obeisance at the Shahdra Sharief shrine out ofwhich 376 were foreigners.
The programme started at 4 PM and attracted crowds inthousands. The main attraction of the crowd were Sabri Brothers from Rajasthan.The duo enthralled the crowd with famous qawwalis.
Several local artists also showed their talent on the stage.
The audiences thanked Rajouri Development Authority, TourismDepartment and District Administration for organizing the program.
