Amid religious pump and show, the annual Baisakhi Mela onthe eve of Baisakhi festival was organised at Nangali Sahib Gurudwara in Poonchdistrict on Sunday.
Thousands of devotees, drawn from all walks of life and fromvarious states of the country, took part in the religious congregation, whereinprayers for world peace and harmony were offered.
A number of noted Sikh religious scholars from Punjab,Rajasthan and other states as well attended the religious congregation anddelivered sermons among the devotees, terming religious path as the way towardshappiness.
Senior officers of district administration were also presenton the occasion and supervised the arrangements.
