A teenage boy was critically injured after being struck by lightning at his house at Basooni village of Balakote in Mendhar sub division.
Injured has been identified as 17 years old Majid Ali son ofMohammad Shabir.
Locals said that boy was sitting inside the house whenlighting struck leaving him injured. Hewas shifted to local army hospital where he was provided medical aid.
Later he was taken to sub district hospital Mendhar fromwhere he was referred to Rajouri GMC Associated Hospital for specialisedtreatment.
