Security forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in several village of Sunderbani here following reports of “some suspicious movement.”
An official said the CASO was launched late in the evening, jointly by army and J&K Police.
“The entire area was cordoned and searches were conducted in three villages and a forest area.” the official said. He said the operation was later called off.
