The Congress party Thursday continued its campaign for the forthcoming parliamentary polls in Rajouri and Poonch districts by organizing a series of meetings in the twin border districts.
The meetings were chaired by the party’s Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabhaconstituency candidate Raman Bhalla. Senior leaders from the party were alsopresent on the occasion.
Speaking in the meetings, the Congress leaders accused theBJP-led NDA government of “befooling the people on the name of fake promises”.
They said that the general public is all set to teach BJP alesson in the forthcoming polls.
The meetings were held in Poonch, Mandi, Surankote,Thannamandi, Behrote, Darhal and Chowdhary Nar.
