The director general of police Dilbagh Singh is scheduled to visit Rajouri and Poonch on Wednesday, where he will meet policemen, besides reviewing the security scenario.
“The DGP will reach Poonch in the morning, wherein he will chair a policemen grievance redressal meet in District Police Lines. He will also take stock of the security situation,” a senior police officer said.
He added, “Later, the DGP will chair a similar meet in District Police Lines Rajouri, besides reviewing the security situation across the district.”
The DGP is also scheduled to review the security arrangements for the ensuing Panchayat polls in Rajouri and Poonch.
