Authorities from Rajouri and Poonch Friday dispatched the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in the parliament polls in the twin districts, to Jammu collection centre.
Deputy commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, who isalso the district election officer Rajouri, told Greater Kashmir that all theEVMs used during the voting in Rajouri have been dispatched to Jammu undertight security.
He said the machines were dispatched from four centres setup for each assembly segment of Rajouri district.
Deputy commissioner and district election officer Poonch,Rahul Yadav said the EVMs from all three centres for each assembly segment havebeen sent to Jammu collection centre under tight security.
