The father of deputy commissioner Bandipora Shahid Iqbal Choudhary passed away on Wednesday. He was 70.
A family member said that Haji Salam Din Choudhary, who was a retired tehsildar, complained of chest pain following which he was rushed to a hospital.
However, he died on way to the hospital.
Family sources told Greater Kashmir that the funeral prayers of the deceased will be held tomorrow at his native Rehantrala village of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
