An auto-rickshaw was reduced to ashes after it caught fire in Dodassan-Bala area of Thannamandi tehsil on Monday afternoon, police said.
A police officer said, “The vehicle caught fire on Dodassan-Bala road and flames engulfed the entire vehicle, leading to its complete damage.”
He further said that as soon as the flames erupted from the vehicle, a fire tender was rushed to the spot, but the vehicle could not be saved.
An FIR has been registered and police are trying to ascertain the cause of the mysterious fire breakout.
