The road connecting Gabber village with Budhal suffered heavy damages after flash flood hit a local rivulet on Tuesday. A portion of the road was washed away and a house suffered damages as well.
As per reports, due to heavy rains since Monday evening, flash flood hit the rivulet flowing in Gabber village and water washed away a road portion of the road in the Gabber village, thereby suspending traffic on the road.
“Traffic got suspended due to flash flood, which also triggered slides along the road,” a local said. Men and machinery from the concerned department was later pressed into action for restoration work.
Meanwhile, the house of a local man, identified as Ghulam Mohammed, son of Abdul Ghani Dar, was also damaged due to the flash flood.
