Security forces conducted an extensive search operation in Surankote town of Poonch, after “receiving some specific inputs”.
Highly placed sources told Greater Kashmir, “There were some specific inputs regarding presence of some suspects in Surankote town. As a result, an intensive search operation was launched, which started on late Tuesday evening and continued till Wednesday morning.”
They added that the operation was carried out jointly by the army and police, with senior officers from both army and police present on the spot.
