India-Pak armies trade fire along LoC

The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire for around two hours along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

An official said the firing started in the morning and continued for around two hours during which the armies of the two countries used “medium-calibre weapons to target each other”.

   

Following the firing incident, people in Khari Karmara area in Poonch ran for safety amid panic all around.

However, there were no reports of any casualties or damage to properties on the either side till this report was filed late on Tuesday evening.
