The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged heavyfire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammuand Kashmir.
An army spokesman said the Pakistan army resorted tounprovoked ceasefire violation in Sunderbani sector early morning by firing withsmall arms and mortars.
He said the Indian army was retaliating “befittingly”.
