India, Pakistan armies’ trade fire along LoC in Poonch

The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that the Pakistan army fired at the posts of Indian army with small arms in Degwar and Kirni areas of the district at 6 PM.

   

The Indian army retaliated to the fire, leading to an exchange that lasted for nearly an hour.

There was no immediate report of any loss of life on the either side so far, he said.
