India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir

The armies of India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

An army spokesman said that the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire in Sunderbani area at 9 am.

   

“The Indian army is retaliating to the fire effectively,” he said, adding that the exchange of fire is continuing since today morning.

There was no immediate report of any loss of life or injuries on the either side.

An army soldier and a BSF man were killed in the firing exchanges along the Jammu and Kashmir border this week.
