The armies of India and Pakistan Friday exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
An official said, “Firing along the LoC was witnessed in Kalal and Baba Khori areas. The cross-border exchange started at about 2:40 pm and continued for around one-and-a-half-hour.”
Jammu-based spokesman of army, lieutenant colonel Devinder Anand said, “Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along LoC in Nowshera sector. The Indian army gave a befitting reply.”
