A security force personnel was injured due to accidental gunshot by one of his colleagues in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Wednesday.
The injured personnel is from the Indo Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) and was deputed in Poonch district for the forthcoming elections.
As per official sources, the soldier was injured when therifle of one of his colleagues went off accidentally and a bullet hit hisshoulder.
He was shifted to local army hospital where he is undertreatment and is stated to be stable.
