Jammu and Kashmir: Soldier killed, officer among three injured in cross-LoC firing

Reports said that the armies of India and Pakistan traded heavy fire and shelling along the LoC in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar in Poonch district early today.

Jammu and Kashmir: Soldier killed, officer among three injured in cross-LoC firing

A soldier was killed and four others, including an officer, were wounded in cross-border shelling in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Reports said that the armies of India and Pakistan traded heavy fire and shelling along the LoC in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar in Poonch district early today.

They said that an army officer and four soldiers were injured in Pakistani firing. The injured, according to an official, were airlifted to Command Hospital Udhampur for specialized treatment where a soldier, identified as Sepoy Mustapure Shubham Suryakant succumbed.
