An army jawan today sustained injuries after armies of India and Pakistan exchanged gunfire on Line of Control in Nowshera sector which broke prevailing calm.
As per sources, firing started today morning and lasted for about two hours during which small and medium level weapons were used while some mortar shells were also fired.
“Firing took place in Lam and Jhanger areas of Nowshera and uneasy calm is prevailing since than ” sources said.
They added that an army jawan posted on LoC in Jhanger Lam also got injured in firing and is under treatment at local army hospital.
