Lady hospitalised with bullet injury in Nowshera

A middle-aged lady was hospitalised in Sub District Hospital Nowshera with bullet injury in thigh today.

Identified as Rekhmat Bi, 35, wife of Gulzar Hussain or Pukharni near Line of Control in Lam Nowshera, the lady, according to sources, was sleeping outside house and felt some pain in thigh. “She found it was also bleeding and was taken to local hospital in Nowshera in morning hours.”

"During first aid, the doctor at the hospital found a bullet inside the wound," sources informed.

The lady is still under treatment in the hospital and police has also reached on the spot. 

"The house of lady is near LoC and possibility of stray bullet from across the LoC can't be ruled out, but police is on investigation," an official said. 

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Dr  Shahid Iqbal Choudhary told Greater Kashmir that she is presently under treatment and confirmed her bullet injury.
