A 3-year-old boy was killed Thursday after he was buried under a landslide in Lar village of Reasi district.
A police officer said, “Murtaza, son of Shabir Ahmed, was playing right outside his house when at about 5 pm, a landslide hit the area. The minor was buried in the debris. The locals launched a rescue operation, but only managed to bring out his body from underneath the debris. He had died on the spot.”
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
