A couple was injured in cross LoC firing in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that a man identified asSanjeev Kumar, 32, son of Suraj Parkash and his wife Rita Kumari, 28, werebrought to the sub-district hospital Nowshera for treatment at about 3 AM onSaturday.
Sources said they were sleeping inside their home locatedclose to Line of Control in Kalal area of Nowshera sector when the firingstarted. “They received bullet injuries in the lower limbs,” they said, addingthat the couple was hospitalised for undergoing treatment.
Additional deputy commissioner Nowshera, Sukhdev SinghSambyal said that both the husband and his wife are stable and out of danger.
He said the two had received one bullet injury each.
