More than one dozen mines exploded due to forest fire that had engulfed several kilometres stretch of Line of Control in Mankote area of Mendhar.
Fire brokeout two days ago in the area and spread in a wide stretch on Line of Control.
Sources disclosed that since this morning, a number of mines exploded in fire rattling the area with big bangs. However, there are so far no reports of any loss of life or injury in explosions.
