Forces continued searches in Lam Nowshera area near LoC on Saturday, where multiple explosions took place on Friday evening.
Details with Greater Kashmir revealed that army continued searches in dense forests and other areas located near a forward post of Lam Nowshera where two separate improvised explosive device explosions took place on Friday evening.
In these explosions, Major SD Nair posted in the area along with riflemanJiwanGurung were killed even as two other army personnel sustained injuries.
“Through searches continued on Saturday and operation was going on when the last reports came in,” sources said.
