The government Tuesday served explanations to ninety seven government officials, after they allegedly remained absent from election training conducted in the district a few days ago.
Officials of the district administration told GreaterKashmir: “For the sake of sensitization of government officials towards theelection process, training programmes were held at different locations acrossthe district in the recent days.”
They said, “In the training sessions, ninety sevengovernment officials remained absent even after directions from higher authoritiesto attend the training without fail.”
Keeping in view the alleged misconduct, the officials said,the administration has served them with explanations.
The ninety seven officials include twenty two from Nowsheraassembly segment, fourteen from Darhal, twenty one from Rajouri and forty fromKalakote.
