A 47-year-old died due to drowning while taking a bath in a river in Raipur Kamila village of Nowshera in Rajouri district, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Pritam Singh son of Satpal Singh resident of Raipur Kamila. Police said that the deceased was bathing in river at Patta Nallah when he drowned and died.
The body of the drowned man was later fished out of river and shifted to Nowshera hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have started investigation in the matter.
