A man was killed and four others sustained injuries when a scuffle broke out between two families at Sathra village in this frontier district on Sunday, police said.
A police official said, “Members of twofamilies were holding a meeting to finalize dates for a marriage ceremony whenverbal duel broke out between two sides over some issue. This was followed bymembers exchanging blows in which five persons sustained injuries.”
He said that the injured were rushed to ahospital where one of the Manzoor Hussain son of Noor Muhammad was declared asbrought dead.
The injured were identified as MuhammadFarooq, Talib Hussain, Muhammad Hussain and Zakir Hussain.
The police official said thatinvestigations were on to ascertain the cause of death which could be due tophysical assault during scuffle or also due to mental shock.
