Manjakote LoC residents vote for water supply

People of Panjgrian, Thandapani near Line of Control in Tarkundi said they voted for a “proper” water supply chain in the area.

Haji Abdul Razaq along with a number of local men on way tothe polling booth in the higher secondary school Kakora, about six kilometresfrom their village, interacted with Greater Kashmir.

   

They said: “We live near Line of Control and stillthere are very few bunkers sanctioned for the village. There is no water supplyfrom the PHE side. We fully depend on the natural water sources.”

“We are going to wait for a government, and do expectthat the government will address our problems especially the waterproblem.” they said.

The border residents said the area does not have completeroad connectivity. “Just three kilometres of a road stretch has been completedso far,” they said.
