A mentally unsound man, who went missing from a village along the Line of Control, is reported to have been traced somewhere in Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK).

Reports said, “Alyas Mohammad (age in between 30-35 years), son of Mir Mohammad and a resident of Jhulas village in Poonch went missing on Tuesday, after which a missing report was lodged in the local police station.”

Meanwhile, sources to Greater Kashmir revealed that there are reports that the man has been traced in a village of PaK. "We have authentic reports that he has been traced somewhere on the other side of the LoC, in PaK," sources divulged.

The incident has put forth serious questions regarding security of heavily guarded LoC fence.

“We have lodged a report and investigation is going on," a police officer said, adding, “Unofficial reports say that the man has been traced in Pakistan administered Kashmir, but nothing has been officially confirmed till now.”
