Narrow escape for passengers in head-on collision

The two buses collided head-on at Kallar on the highway. Both the buses were partially damaged, police said.

Scores of passengers had a narrow escape on Sunday when there was a head-on collision between the two buses they were travelling in on Jammu Rajouri highway. Few of them however sustained minor injuries. 
As per police reports, one bus bearing registration no.JK02AG 0795 was on its way to Bagla Nadyala village from Rajouri bus stand and the another bus bearing registration no.JK02BK 0994 was coming from Jammu to Poonch.
The two buses collided head-on at Kallar on the highway. Both the buses were partially damaged, police said.
The passengers travelling in the buses had a narrow escape though a few among them sustained minor injuries, police said.
Out of the eight passengers who sustained minor injuries in the mishap, one was shifted to district hospital Rajouri who has been admitted.
Meanwhile, due to accident, vehicular traffic on the highway remained affected for more than an hour at Kallar Chowk.
Police registered a case in the accident.
