PaK repatriates Poonch boy

A boy hailing from Jhulas village located near Line of Control in Poonch district, who had crossed over to the other side five months ago, has been repatriated by PaK authorities.

Sources identified the boy as Ilyas Mohammad son of Mir Mohammad.

The  boy had gone missing on  December 11 last  and on  December 13, a video went viral on social media platforms of Pakistan which showed the  boy  in   PaK village close to LoC.

The boy was handed over to Indian side at a crossing point by Pakistani authorities, sources said.

SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral said that the police received the boy from the army. He said the medico-legal formalities were being carried out following which the boy will be handed over to his family.
