Police have recovered body of a missing man from hilly area of Budhal in this district and have arrested the accused.
A team headed by SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani under thesupervision of Deputy SP Headquarter Surinder Khadyal started investigation andrelatives of missing man were questioned while few suspects were rounded up.
Police succeeded in recovering the body of victim, who wasidentified, as Ghulam Nabi Khanday, son of Mohammad Abdullah Khanday, aresident of Charar-e Sharif in Budgam district.
A case FIR 120/2020 under sections 302 IPC has beenregistered and accused Shabir Ahmed Dar, resident of Gabbar Budhal wasarrested.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Chandan Kohli saida special investigation team headed by Additional SP Rajouri, Liyaqat Ali isinvestigating the matter to ascertain involvement of more person in the murderof the victim.
