Expressing their resentment against the state government for not solving their demands, several teachers of government education department on Wednesday submitted their resignation from Booth Level Officer (BLOs), who are engaged in election process, to the DDC Mohammed Aijaz Asad.
The teachers, from different assembly constituencies of Poonch district including Surankote, Mendhar and Poonch Haveli, submitted their resignation from BLO duty on Wednesday. In their written resignation letter, they termed several reasons for their resignation, including irregular salary payment, not providing benefits of 7th Pay Commission, delinking of salaries and hectic academic schedule.
