The modalities for the formulation of Block and District Rural Road plans under the PMGSY-III phase were today discussed here at a meeting chaired by the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan.
The meeting was attended by CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Superintend Engineer PWD, Shahid Latief; District Planning Officer, Chander Kant Bhagat; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Mohammad Zubair; ExEn PWD Nowshera, Prem Kapoor; ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander and ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Abdul Gani. Besides, the BDC Chairpersons and the Members of the District Development Councils of different Constituencies of the district were also present in the meeting.
The meeting was informed that under the phase-III of the PMGSY, the upgradation of the existing rural roads of the PWD and REW shall be carried out and the action plan in this regard will be formulated with the consent of the PRIs concerned.
