A 70-year-old man missing from December last year was found buried under snow in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, reports said.
A police officer told news agency GNS that the body of Ghulam Rasool Nayak, Son of Akbar Nayak a resident of Mahoo-Khari village was found at Mangit top.
SHO Banihal Abid Bukhari said the locals spotted the body of the man who was mentally disturbed.
The officer further said that the body was recovered and later handed over to his family for last rites after completion of all legal formalities. The officer added that the deceased might have been hit by an avalanche.
