The authorities on Tuesday started the snow clearance operation on historic Mughal Road from Poonch side.
The road was closed in November last year following heavysnowfall.
Tariq Mahmood, assistant engineer, mechanical engineeringdepartment, Rajouri division said they have pressed in service men andmachinery for snow clearance operation.
“We will continue with the operation up to Pir Ki Gali,”Mahmood said.
