An army jawan died on the Line of Control in Poonch’s Saujiyan area after he suffered cardiac arrest.
Sources said that the soldier belonging to Saujiyan basedRashtriya Rifles fell unconscious in the intervening night of Saturday andSunday after which he was taken to army medical center where doctors declaredhim as brought dead.
Deceased identified as Havaldar Vijay was a resident of Maharashtra and his mortalremains were sent by the Army to hisnative village after conducting medico legal formalities at Poonch hospital.
