An Army soldier sustained minor injuries as cross border firing and shelling continued for the second consecutive day on Thursday in Rajouri’s Lam area of Nowshera sector.
On Wednesday as well, firing and shelling took place in the said area and both sides exchanged heavy gunfire for hours.
As per sources, on Thursday morning, firing started in Lam and for more than two hours, both sides exchanged gun fire which ceased in the afternoon hours, but started again in the evening. Intermittent firing was going on till last reports poured in.
The injured soldier is under treatment, sources said.
