A man was knocked to death by a sports utility vehicle on Rajouri highway Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Zaffar Iqbal (30) son ofMohammad Hussain of Dhanore Jarallan Rajouri.
Police said the deceased was walking along Rajouri highwaynear Tariq Bridge when the vehicle hit him.
The passersby rushed the injured to Rajouri hospital wherehe was declared brought dead, said police.
Police has seized the offending vehicle bearing registrationnumber JK01T 5233 and arrested the driver.
