Two minor sisters died under mysterious circumstances inNalla village of Sunderbani area of Rajouri district, police said on Thursday.
They said that 18-month-old Afreen Kousar and four-month-oldMahira, daughters of Mohammad Agrees of Nalla, were found dead under mysteriouscircumstances in their home last night.
Later, the bodies of the girls were shifted to SunderbaniSub-District Hospital for medico-legal formalities, said police.
As per the locals, the duo was administered vaccine in ahealth center of the area on Wednesday after which their conditiondeteriorated. They believed that the girls might have died due to thevaccination.
Meanwhile, police have launched inquest proceedings underrelevant sections of the law to ascertain the reasons behind the mysteriousdeath of the duo.
